I have been weaving since 1973, specializing in original textiles for clothing and home interiors. My love of color has led me to explore dyeing and its unlimited possibilities. Peach Party Dress
Rayon fabric was hand-dyed. Garment construction was bias cut and machine stitched using a commercial pattern. Skeins of 6-ply rayon were hand-dyed and woven in tabby weave structure. Susan Kurcbart created the polymer clay cabochon and beaded necklace. The necklace was completed first and became the inspiration for the dress and shawl.
